He was talking to a delegation from Tribal Areas led by former parliamentary secretary Muhammad Nazir Khan in Islamabad today.
He stressed the need to evolve a comprehensive strategy to get benefit from the mineral resources in erstwhile FATA. He said mineral resources of tribal areas will help improve living standards of the people.
The President hoped that pace of development will get impetus with the construction of Kurram Tangi dam and the people should fully cooperate with the government in this regard.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's ambassador designate to Tunisia Muhammad Hassan also called on President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad today.
The President emphasized on evolving a comprehensive strategy to improve cooperation in various fields, including trade education and culture between Pakistan and Tunisia.
