The protest would be attended by leadership of all the allied parties, including PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif.
Members of anti-PTI alliance began gathering outside the ECP office after noon, where they would protest against rigging of recently-held General Election 2018.
PML-N leader Mushahid Hussain Syed said that his party was in contact with MMA, Awami National Party (ANP) and Qaumi Watan Party (QWP). "We have also spoken to Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Hasil Bizenjo and other parties."
Syed further said that they would decide as to how long the protest wound last, upon reaching outside the ECP office.
The PML-N leader said that it would be a grand protest against delay in election results, polls rigging and mismanagement.
Reacting to PTI's challenging of his petition for recounting in NA-131 Lahore, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Imran Khan was going to become the prime minister now and suggested the PTI chairman to stop speaking lies.
"First they themselves offered to open constituencies for recount and now [they are] making excuses," Rafique criticised the PTI leadership.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad police have devised a security plan in view of the protest, under which only members of the Parliament would be allowed to walk up to the ECP office.
Workers of political parties would not be allowed to enter into the Red Zone under the security plan.
