Rescue 1122 prepares initial report over blaze at Lahore's plaza
Emergency ambulance service Rescue 1122 on Sunday has prepared preliminary report over the fire that erupted at a plaza on Lahore.

According to the report, the blaze broke out in the cluster of wires on maisonette floor that badly affected rooms on third floor.

43 people were safely rescued, seven were shifted to the hospital while one person lost his life as he jumped off the plaza, the report stated.

It further revealed that no important office was there in the plaza.

Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar had ordered thorough probe into the ‘suspect fire’ and summoned report from Punjab Inspector General of Police (IG) as soon as possible.

A multi-story shopping mall owned by former Punjab chief minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president Shebaz Sharif’s son-in-law Ali Imran mysteriously caught fire, stashing the record of agreement of Punjab Saaf Pani Company.

Thus far, Ali Imran—who is facing anti-graft proceedings—hasn’t yet produced record of Punjab Saaf Pani Company and Punjab Power Development Company before National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
