The opposition leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday reminded the Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaaf (PTI) its promise to form south Punjab province and said that PML-N will bring the bill for the creation of south Punjab in NA and hope PTI will support it.
Addressing during NA session, the opposition leader said that PTI has made the promise with the people of southern Punjab for separate province and time has come to turn its slogans in reality.“PTI government should take practical steps towards Southern Punjab and PML-N will offer full cooperation with the government,” Shehbaz said.
He also stressed on the government to restore the old status of Bahawalpur as a province alongside Southern Punjab.
