WhatsApp
The digital assistants like Google Assistant for Android smarphones and Siri for iOS made it easy for WhatsApp users to send messages without typing it on the app if they are busy in some sort of work.

For using the feature, the user needs to ask the digital assistant to read out messages. The assistant will ask for the permission for accessing the phone’s notifications.

Google will display a message, “to hear your messages, calendar events, and other important info, give the Google app access to your notifications”, to get certain permission which could be reversed through the phone’s settings by disabling the notification access for Google from the Notification section.

Here are the steps to get this facility on your smartphone:

Install Google Assistant app. In case of any difficulty to call the feature by saying ‘Hey Google’ or ‘Okay Google, the user can touch and hold

Home button to activate it on the Android smartphone or tablet.

Tap on ‘Open’ button after the installation of the app and say ‘Hey Google’.

After getting response from the assistant, say, ‘Send a WhatsApp message to [name of the person]’.

The assistant will ask the user regarding the message.

The assistant will type and show the message before saying the message is ready to send. The user will have to say ‘Okay, send it.’ to deliver it.

The assistant may directly send the message on the second time.
