The Saudi information minister Dr Awwad Bin Saleh Al Awwad called on Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday.
Matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting, said a statement issued here by military media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The visiting dignitary lauded the strong and brotherly bilateral ties between the two countries.
He also reaffirmed Saudi governments’ full support to Pakistan in its efforts towards peace and stability.
Earlier, in his meeting with Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry, the Saudi minister said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed the strong fraternal relationship and now would work to enhance ties in the field of media.
