The government on Monday removed Inspector General Punjab Police (IGP) Amjad Javed Saleemi from the post.
According to details, Captain (r) Arif Nawaz has been appointed as new IG Punjab. Amjad Javed Saleemi has been asked to report to the establishment division.
A notification has been issued by the Establishment division in this regard.
