New Zealand win toss, opt to bat in 1st Test against Pakistan
Pakistan bowling attack ripped through Kiwis batting and bundled them out only at 153 in the first innings of the first Test in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

Leg-spinner Yasir Shah, Haris Sohail and Muhammad Abbasi shattered Kiwis middle order. Yasir, along with Mohammad Abbas, Hasan Ali and Haris Sohail enjoyed a brilliant piece of bowling.

Yasir removed opener Tom Latham with the fourth ball into his introduction for 13 before dismissing Ross Taylor for two after New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat on a grassless Sheikh Zayed Stadium pitch.

Skipper Kane Williamson tried to anchor his team’s innings with 63 off 112 balls, while Henry Nicholls managed 28 as Pakistan dominated the session extended to two and a half hours due to Friday prayers.

Williamson was declared fit to play after missing the last one-day with a groin injury.

New Zealand openers Jeet Raval and Latham survived some anxious moments before pace spearhead Mohammad Abbas had Raval edging to wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed after scoring seven.

Earlier, According to details, Kiwis Captain Kane Williamson decided to bat first after winning toss in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan Team Captain Sarfaraz said that he would also like to bat first if he wins the toss.
